Florence County Emergency Management Department is responsible for coordination and operation of a county-wide, multi-hazard disaster preparedness program; public safety and general government radio communications services; and E-911 network services. To accomplish these tasks the 52 employees of the Emergency Management Department are organized into the following departments:

  • E-911 Addressing Department
  • E-911/Central Dispatch Department
  • Communications Department
  • Emergency Preparedness Department (Natural Hazards and Technological Hazards)
